A new and extended trailer has been released for the Star Wars Rebels TV series which is to debut on Disney XD this coming October. The hologram recording of Obi-wan Kenobi breaks the news that the Republic and the Jedi have fallen, and this clearly tells us that the events here take places between the Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV A New Hope. 


Also Disney and Lucasfilm announced that there will be a special screening of the animated series at Comic-con in San Diego on the eve of July 24th (8:30pm) at the Gaslamp Reading Cinemas.
