Brandon Routh cast as the Atom in the upcoming Arrow TV series season 3
Brandon Routh, the man who played Superman from the movie Superman Returns that was released in 2006, has just been cast as Ray Palmer in the upcoming season of Arrow. If you are familiar with this character you will be able to remember that Ray Palmer is the alter ego of another DC Comics superhero called the Atom. With this new role, Brandon Routh becomes a two-time DC Superhero actor.
Deadline detailed that Brandon Routh will play the character of "Ray Palmer, a scientist and inventor who will play an unexpected role in the lives of Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak as the new owner of Queen Consolidated." CW's Arrow Season 3 will premiere on October 8th.
