Nokia's first Android-powered smartphone Nokia XL is now in the Philippines for only Php8,990

Nokia Philippines has confirmed that its Android-based smartphone called Nokia XL is now available in the country for Php8,999. This XL is like the bigger brother of Nokia X which was announced the same day back in February with the Nokia X+, but was not made available in the country until recently.

- 5" WVGA IPS LCD Display
- 800x480 resolution
- 1GHz Dual-core Snapdragon S4 Processor
- 768MB of RAM
- 4GB internal storage
- Supports microSD card up to 32GB
- 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED Flash
- 2MP Front camera
- Dual SIM
- Android Jellybean with Nokia X UI
- 2,000mAh BAttery
- Bright Green, Bright Orange and Black
- Php8,990

The Nokia X smartphones are the very first devices released by Nokia, before it was officially acquired by Microsoft, that run Google's Android mobile operating system. However the interface of these devices does not look like the interface of the common Android smartphones we are familiar with and that is because Nokia decided to heavily fork this Android version and based its look on its Lumia software.
