When Microsoft officially acquired Nokia's mobile division in April I thought that would be the end of Nokia phones with Android OS in it, remember Nokia X, X+ and XL? Apparently I was wrong and Microsoft seems to not give up yet on that line of smartphones as they just announced the Nokia X2. As expected of the sequel generations, the X2 has new features and upgrades not found in the predecessors.
Just like the previous Android-powered Nokia smartphones that were announced and released earlier this year, the Nokia X2 will still be based on Google's Android operating system but still heavily modified to look like a Windows Phone OS. There are also some other Windows apps that come pre-installed with the device such as the OutLook, OneDrive and some Xbox games.
From 4 inches the screen display been upsized to 4.3 inches but still with the same resolution of 800x480. Battery was also made a bit bigger this time with 1,800mAh. Aside from the Back button, Microsoft added a Home button which sits beside the first one. And yes, the camera now sports 5MP lens with autofocus and LED flash.
