Wearable devices such smartwatches are getting smarter nowadays. Google is expected to announce its Moto 360 smartwatch this week, where most likely to sport a round face which is not common to the smartwatches we have already seen, square. Minuum has unveiled its upcoming keyboard app exclusively created for Moto 360 or for future round-faced smartwatches. Though Minuum has released video demos before showing how a keyboard app should work on a smartwatch, ( I emebedded one below), they have not revealed one yet for the round smartwatch but the good news us they have managed to release an animated GIF photo featuring how it should look on that device.
Why we need a keyboard app for such a small device with small display where voice command should work for text input? The answer is, according to Minuum is "as useful as voice recognition might be for some situations, it will always remain insufficient when it comes to noisy environments and private message replies."
