Lupin The Third live-action movie is ready to be shown in Japan. See trailer here.
There is nothing that would make us happier than seeing some our childhood favorite cartoons or anime series being adapted into a major motion picture especially if this is a live-action movie, right? When I first heard about the Rurouni Kenshin movie that was going to be made, I was very happy. The first Samurai X film was released in 2012 and the sequels KYOTO INFERNO and THE LEGEND ENDS will be shown in Japan later this year which many hope to be released outside of the country after that. Right now there is another anime to hit theaters, another anime that I loved to watch when I was younger and that is Lupin The Third or simply LUPIN III.
You read that right, the famous thief with his friends Goemon, Daisuke and of course Fujico has already been filmed and it is scheduled to be released in Japan this August. See below one of its teaser trailer. There is another trailer that was released last month but for some reason it was pulled out of YouTube. Good thing they did not include the teaser below. I hope they would eventually release it back and the whole movie as well just like the Rurouni Kenshin.
