Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction. Opens June 2014.
Finally it is here, the very first and official full length trailer for the Transformers: Age of Extinction that I have been waiting for since January and most of all since yesterday when it was promised to be released today by Paramount Pictures after the first character poster was unveiled yesterday as well featuring Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager with him holding a huge alien weapon. See the trailer below, it is action and explosion packed just like what I have been expecting it to be.
As usual Autobots, Decepticons, humans and the government plus the addition of Dinobots clash together in this fourth installment of Michael Bay's Transformers franchise. Many thought including myself that Bay was done when the "Dark of the Moon" was released in 2011, but since change is the only thing that is permanent we can forgive the director for pulling back what he has said and letting these crazy alien robots roll out for the fourth time. Besides he added the Dinobots in the film (which most fans were wanting to see) and Shia LaBeouf and other characters got replaced with new ones, so it's pretty acceptable to me. Most of all I don't care how many Transformers film Mr. Bay will further create in the future, I just love the franchise and how he renders each and every film, I can't imagine seeing another director taking the helm for future Autobots-Decepticons films.
After watching the trailer, it is very noticeable that Michael Bay and his team have redesigned almost everyone in the movie, see Optimus Prime's photo above? I love it, it has more "metal muscle" than the previous movies, it's got sword, gun, new alternate looks and I know there are "more than meets" the eye in this film. I don't wanna miss this in cinemas.
Last year, there were many photos of new super cars/alternates and new Autobots members that were released by Bay which includes a Bugatti, Lamborghini Aventador , new Chevrolet Camaro concept design and many more. Those were not shown in this first trailer but definitely will be showcased in the future ones before the release date comes.
