Starmobile just outed a Php2,999 smartphone called PLAY. Check out the specs, price and availability here.
Looking at the specs of this newly announced and released smartphone from Starmobile which is called Play, I am pretty sure that the asking price of Php2,999 will not be wasted on this one. It offers most of the features and technical specifications that are rarely found in devices with the price category. So to me it's already a pretty good deal. You might have already noticed that the Play features built-in Yamaha speakers which the company claims to be the loudest speaker. This is also the same Yamaha speaker found in Starmobile's first Octa-core processor powered smartphone, the Diamond X1 which was also announced last month. I have not heard a Yamaha speaker working in a smartphone so I hope that it is not just loud but also clear one. Sporting a 5MP camera with fixed focus and LED flash functionality is already a steal in this one. Also not forget the 2,000mAh battery size on this one that Starmobile promises to last up to 4 hours of talk time or 10.5 hours of standby in a single charge.
