Samsung announced the new Galaxy Note Pro sporting a 12.2-inch Super Clear LCD display with a 2560x1600 pixel resolution.

Nope, it is not the usual Galaxy Note phablet we know. It is a tablet with a massive 12.2-inch display size and this one really packs and punch and is definitely going to be a new talk-of-the-town device this year and probably in the next years to come. Samsung announced the Galaxy NotePRO. Featuring 12.2" WQXGA widescreen display. And this is the first one of its kind, in case you don't know what a WQXGA is, it's a 2560x1600 pixel resolution.Oh yes, it's a bigger brother to the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition.
What sets this NotePro apart from the other Android running Galaxy devices and other line of Note phablet is that it runs Google's latest and newest Android 4.4 Kitkat and it is even powered by a bigger 9,500mAh of battery. But when it comes to the physical design of the device it is very similar to the 2014 Edition of the other Galaxy Note tablet. This will come in two variants running two different processors depending on the connectivity type. The 3G and WiFi versions will be powered by an Octa-core Samsung Exynos processor while an LTE one will be supported by a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, alongside is a 3GB RAM and comes in either 32/64GB internal flash. The NotePRO will also sport faux-leather back covering which is first found in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and in the newly announced Samsung Galaxy Camera 2.
As for its cameras offering, the Galaxy Note Pro bears 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing shooter and just like any other Galaxy Note devices out there, this newest Note also has it's built-in signature S-Pen accessory and functionality that comes with the device so expect new features and functionality which are only exclusive to the Galaxy Note lines. Magazine UX is also a new feature here, it is the magazine like display when you press the home button and can still be personalized based on what apps and information you wanted to display. No pricing and availability were mentioned in the announcement but many are saying that it could be released within the quarter.
