Cherry Mobile has revealed a Php5,499 price tag for its upcoming CM Flare HD which is set to release this month.

One of the most anticipated locally-branded smartphones of the year, Cherry Mobile Flare HD is coming out in the market this month for a price tag of Php5,499. Cherry Mobile made the confirmation of the price on its Facebook page. Although I was expecting new member of the Flare family to be less than 5k mark due to the previous Flare smartphone pricing, its not really of a big deal considering the specs we get out of the box.
Cherry Mobile calls this one "#HDngBayan" as it sports a 4.3-inch HD IPS Display with a resolution of 1280x720 and pixel density of 342ppi. A team of supporting specs like 1.2GHz Mediatek 6589 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB Internal storage (expandable), 12MP w/ LED Flash camera and 5MP front facing selfie lens, Android Jellybean 4.2 and 1,800mAh battery size, I don't think Php5,499 asking price is not reasonable.
As soon as this one comes out this January, I will definitely buy one for myself and hopefully provide a full review in the future. However, if my instinct is serving me right, I can wait for the Cherry Mobile Flare HD 2.0. That's what the Cherry Mobile trending is telling me but no one knows, I maybe the only one.
