Blackberry and LG will start releasing LG phones with Blackberry Messenger pre-installed on it.
Blackberry formally and widely launched it's famous BBM or Blackberry Messenger in October to iOS and Android users which the Canadian company claimed it was downloaded more than 10 million times in the first 24 hours. Now, Blackberry and LG announced the partnership where the BBM app will come pre-loaded on the future LG devices. The first one to sport it right out of the box is the LG G Pro Lite, a 5.5-inch and dual-SIM LG smartphone.
"People across the globe are using BBM to connect with each other and the enthusiasm has been phenomenal," said Andrew Bocking, Executive Vice President for BBM at BlackBerry. "We're extremely pleased that LG Electronics will help bring their customers a more seamless experience with BBM by preloading the app, starting with the G Pro Lite in key markets."
In the coming months, Blackberry also mentioned that both iOS and Android users of the Blackberry messenger app can expect to have new updates such as BBM Voice calling , BBM Video calling, BBM Channels features.
