Cherry Mobile yesterday just officially launched the Flare 2.0 Android smartphone offering a quad-core processor for only a price of Php3,999. A very affordable price for a phone housing a quad-core processor, right? Read on to see what can you get out of that deal.
This is the follow up to the Cherry Mobile Flare that was released last with a so-hard-to-resist price tag. It was even dubbed as the "dual-core ng bayan". Now since Cherry Mobile already has the next Flare smartphone powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm 8225Q processor with Adreno 203 GPU, we now have the "Quad-core ng bayan", the CM calls it.
The Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 has a 4-inch WVGA LCD screen with 480x800 resolution and is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Aside from the 4-core processor, it also has a 512MB of RAM and that's maybe one of the reasons for its price. Out of the box the Flare 2.0 comes with a 4GB of storage space which is just like other Android phones is expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. 5MP back camera with dual LED flash paired with a VGA front camera.
