It was previously reported that Mel Gibson might join the ensemble in The Expendables 3 and would play as the villain for the film. Well, that report has just been confirmed as per post on The Wrap saying that it was confirmed to them by a representative of Sylvester Stallone.
Antonio Banderas was also confirmed for the movie. Days ago Stallone announced via Twitter that Bruce Willis is out and Harrison Ford is in the movie. Mel Gibson will be the main bad guy here so let's see how this thing is going to work along with the new characters and the previous ones. Now that it seems the cast for the third Expendables film is complete, what we look forward now to see is the first day of shooting which is either later this year or early next year.
The Expendables 3 is currently scheduled for August 15, 2014 release. Jacky Chan, Wesley Snipes, Kellan Lutz and Milla Jovovich are also in the film.
