Twitter announced the coming of Vine to Android phones and is now ready for download from Google Play. However, there are some features missing for this version compared to its iOS counterpart which was
initially released around 6 months ago. Vine is a video-sharing app created by the people behind popular micro blogging site Twitter.
Those functions are support for front camera, search and hashtags to name a few. But worry not, Sara Haider Vine's Android engineer said in a statement "Over the coming weeks, you'll see frequent updates with
new features including front-facing camera, search, mentions and hashtags and the ability to share to Facebook, as well as fixes and performance improvements."
Sara Haider, also added that this is just the beginning and they have exciting plans for features that could exist only on Android.
So he you wanna try this early version of Vine and you have an Android 4.0 or higher, then you may proceed to Play.Google.com to download the app.
Vine is the video clip version of our tweets. Tweets are limited to only 140 characters, while Vine users are limited to record a video to up to 6 seconds. Once video is shared or embedded on sites, the 6-second video will on loop or continuously playing, so creativity is some sort of a need here.
