Here is Sony's First Phablet, World's Slimmest and Largest Full HD Smartphone Display, Xperia Z Ultra

Sony joins the phablet race that was started by Korea-based company Samsung when it launched the Galaxy Note 1 some couple of years ago, it was a success that is why it's no surprise that alot of electronics manufacturers followed suit in releasing their own smartphone-tablet hybrid, so here is Sony's first entry to the phone-tablet war it is called Xperia Z Ultra.

However this one is a little bit bigger than the usual phablet we know and it is actually almost as big as a tablet with a screen display measurement of 6.4-inch with the display being in full HD. What do you think? Too big for a smartphone but not enough to be a tablet? You decide. Wait I just remembered Samsung just outed bigger Galaxy Phablets called Galaxy Mega that boasts 6.3" and 5.8" display sizes but I still love the size of Galaxy Note 1 and 2.

The Xperia Z Ultra aside from its massive face, its specs sheet is also interesting and another major offering of this Android device from Sony is it's waterproof and dust resistant features which means the device can be used under water as the Z Ultra bears the IP55 and IP58 certification. It can be submerged up to 1.5 meters of freshwater deep for up to 30 minutes long and that's according to Sony Mobile post.
