Riddick appears to be left for death in a desolate sun scorched planet. He finds himself fighting for survival against predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly decend to the planet in search of their bounty.
Vin Diesel through his Facebook page revealed a teaser poster for Riddick which is captioned with " It's been over decade, since I've been to Comic-Con... Grrr... The Furyan... "
Riddick: Rule the Dark is the third installment of the series pioneered by Pitch Black in 2000 and Chronicles of Riddick in 2004. Aside from lead actor Vin Diesel, it also stars Karl Urban, Dave Bautista, Katee Sackhoff and Nolan Gerard Funk. Written and directed by David Twohy and scheduled for release this September.
