In my previous post, Cherry Mobile announced it's new quad-core tablet (Fusion Wave) which is powered by a Samsung Exynos chip. But CM is not done yet launching new devices this June as they have revealed a new smartphone that is going to be a new member of their Android and quad-core processor-powered handsets and it is called Cherry Mobile Thunder 2.0, a follow up to the previous Thunder phone that was launched about 5 months ago.
Cherry Mobile Thunder 2.0 Specifications:
5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854) 5-point touch screen, 196ppi
Android 4.2 Jellybean
1.2 GHz Quad-Core MTK 6589 Processor
512MB RAM
PowerVR SGX 544 GPU
Dual SIM
8MP Rear Camera
2MP Front Camera
4GB Internal Storage
up to 32GB via microSD
WiFi b/g/n
2,100mAh battery
Php6,299
If there is one I won't like about the device's specs, that would be the RAM which is only at 512MB. I mean, for a quad-core processor and a Jelly Bean operating system running the smartphone, it would really need to have at least 1GB of RAM for a much better experience.
