Yesterday Starmobile just made its newest flagship Android phone official. SM(StarMobile) was referring to it as "Starmobile K" until it was revelead on Wednesday that the actual name is "Starmobile Knight".
For most of us have already known, the Knight is a rebranded name of i-Mobile IQX but according to YugaTech.com, though it is a rebranded one, the Pinoy mobile brand told them that SM is offering the newest version of the smartphone so we can expect to have some upgrades versus the original version.
The specs of the Knight are pretty decent and I can say that it can compete with the current international brands of smartphones. One of the best features of this smartphone is its cameras where the rear one is pegged at 18-Megapixel with dual-LED flash partnered with a front facing one at 8MP. The screen size is not too from from the average smartphones' of today sporting a 4.7-inch HD LCD and a 1280x720 resolution.
Under the hood are the MediaTek MT6589 quad-core clocked at 1.2HGz, 1GB of RAM and the internal storage is not that big which which only has 4GB os space right out of the box, but still can be expended via microSD to up to 32GB. Of course the SM Knight will run on Google's Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, it is also a dual-SIM handset and the show will be supported by a 2,000mAh battery. Not bad right?
But there is one more important thing that was not announced during the media event by Starmobile, the price. So we still have to wait a little on that one if we plan to buy this android phone anytime soon. The Starmobile Knight will hit local stores sometime in July 2013.
