The Korea based electronics giant Samsung just announced another installment of its Galaxy Tab line. Samsung unveils the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3.
The new Galaxy Tab, aside from sporting the same screen size as the Tab 2 at 7 inches, the battery also remains the same at 4,000mAh. Processor of this one was upgraded to a dual-core 1.2GHz chip. Storage options will come in two variants, 8GB and 16GB and just like any other Galaxy/Android devices its memory can be expanded to up to 64GB. Obviously this is an Android-powered tablet which will run on Android 4.1 or Jelly Bean.
Other features that stay the same on the Tab 3 are the camera specifications at 3MP for the back facing one and paired with a front 1.3-megapixel one and the screen resolution is still 1024x600. Samsung said the WiFi only version will be available sometime in May and its 3G variant will be released in June of this year.
Pricing was not disclosed, so most likely it will be announced the same time it will be released in the market.
