I didn't know it was possible to unblock someone on Facebook until I accidentally blocked a friend and searched the internet on how to undo it. Because I thought once you have blocked a user, that's going to be a permanent thing, good thing I was wrong.
So here's what I found out, did it to retrieve my friend from being blocked as it was unintentionally done and it was perfectly done.
1. Click on the lock icon found at the top right of any Facebook page.
2. From the pop-up window select " How do I stop someone from bothering me?"
3. Click "View all blocked users"
4. Another pop-up window will show up that will show you list of users you have blocked. Simply click the "Unblock" button right next to the person you wish to unblock.
5. Lastly, you just need to click "Confirm" in the next small window confirming your action.
That's it. Simple right? However I needed to explain to my friend why I sent him another friend request. Because as per Facebook's Help Center. It does not automatically restore your "friendship" on Facebook one of the parties must send a friend request again.
