Apple just released a statement that it has sold more than 5 million units of their newest smartphone, iPhone 5 since it was launched 3 days ago.
According to most tech bloggers, analysts were expecting Apple to sell more than 6 million iPhone 5s in its first three days in the wild, so that was a bit short. Some say it is because the initial iPhone 5 supply was not enough to accommodate all the rushing Apple fans to get their hands on the tallest iPhone ever. And most stores have reported a "sold-out" status of their iPhone 5 stocks.
The good news is, even though iPhone 5 stocks are running out, buyers can still place order via stores or online for this 5th gen iPhone and they will be provided with an estimated time of delivery.
iPhone 5 is currently available in the US, Australia, Canada, UK, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and France.
As we all know, it is not available in the Philippines yet. I suspect this phone may arrive sometime in November, just like when iPhone 4S was released by two giant telcos in Manila.
iPhone 5 is longer than its predecessors boasting a much larger screen display at 4-inches diagonally. Under its hood is the new A6 processor chip. Available in three storage variants 16GB, 32GB and 64GB and has
the latest iOS 6 mobile operating system. 8 Megapixel camera. This newest iPhone akso supports LTE.
