After receiving a response from Globe, I still went ahead and clicked on the link on my Facebook page via Operamini browser to double check :D. The Facebook for mobile java application was successfully downloaded to my Samsung phone. Then I launched the newly downloaded app and nothing happens. It did not connect to the internet, because I don't have enough prepaid credits to do it.
I thought maybe I would need to register first to this promo because I can enjoy the free Facebook like what they (Globe) did last month when they had a Free Twitter promo. I dialled *143# to register, I was able to see the registration link for free Twitter but says not available at this time. Unfortunately nothing that says about free Facebook.
But let us still see in the coming days or weeks, they might be still in preparation process and don't want to confirm it to everybody until it is official, we don't know. In August before Globe gave a free Twitter access promo, Smart communications released first the Free Unli Facebook Access Promo. So I thought maybe they would do it this time again after Smart.
